Who we are and what we do

We are i2i, an ambitious and purpose-driven organization of 40 employees based in Amsterdam. i2i focuses on keeping healthcare efficient and affordable while maintaining quality and accessibility. We achieve this by collaborating with healthcare institutions, using a data-driven approach to identify where care can be organized more effectively.

Every day, i2i engages with medical specialists to realize a behavioral shift toward cost-effectiveness and quality of care. Various stakeholders, such as healthcare providers and insurers, are involved in this process. Although their interests do not always align, everyone shares the goal of providing excellent care and eliminating waste. This is exactly what i2i stands for.

The atmosphere at i2i is informal. While our core focus is on our results and social mission, we also prioritize fun and relaxation. We dedicate time to personal development, both technically and socially. For those who wish, we offer a fully catered vegetarian lunch daily. Our meeting table can be transformed into a ping-pong table, and you can join in for a game of Spikeball or a walk. Additionally, you can participate in the monthly activities organized by our social committee.

Career opportunities

Working at i2i means actively contributing to affordable and efficient healthcare in the Netherlands. The analyses performed by our Data Scientists are complex. It is crucial that they structure these analyses well, ensure their accuracy, and clearly convey what the data means and how care can be improved. This is what makes working with us so challenging. Plus, data science is our core business. As a result, you will have inspiring colleagues who are also experts in data science and from whom you can learn a lot.

Our Consultants discuss these analyses with doctors and hospitals, helping them to initiate improvement trajectories and make them a success. They too must possess strong analytical abilities and excellent communication skills. Our ambition for the coming years is to create even more impact by smartly combining data analysis with behavioral change. As a bèta- or science graduate, you are indispensable in bridging the gap between raw data and societal solutions. We are therefore looking for ambitious talent with a quantitative background (such as applied mathematics or data science) or a background in health sciences combined with strong analytical and communicative skills.

We are specifically looking for driven starters who want to kick off their careers as a Data Scientist or Consultant after completing their studies. At i2i, you will get a flying start: you will be assigned a personal mentor during your first year, dedicate 5% of your time to the i2i Academy for professional growth, and work in an informal atmosphere where meaningful work and a fun environment take center stage.
